| CBR and new pirate theme rooms We are thinking of staying in the pirate theme rooms at CBR. I know it's located in Trinada South and this is furthest away from the main pool and food court. Can anyone tell just how far it is? And can you compare it to POR. At POR we've stayed pretty far away from the main pool, so I'm trying to get a sense to compare. Thanks! |

| I don't know the distance as I never stayed there but I was wondering if you knew if they were going to have some regular rooms in the pirate theme or just the family suites that I read about? (Sorry to hijack you post hopefully we can get all the answers about the new rooms) |

We asked for a room closer but nothing so they put us at CS did'nt really care for the resort but it was closer to get to the pool and food court. But the new room do look really cool though even if your our Guam |

| We just booked and are staying at the Caribbean Beach Resort, too. However we opted for a standard room. I was curious how far apart things really are, as we have never stayed there before. Hopefully it isn't too terribly far. |

| CBR is our favorite mod resort and Trinidad South has always been our favorite section to stay in. It's not a bad walk to the pool IMO - 10-15 minutes depending on your pace I'd guess. Because that resort is so large, it can often be crowded and loud, especially as you get closer to the main areas. We've never so much as heard our neighbors pass by in TS - nice and quiet. Love that!

HOWEVER . . . I have seen "artist's renderings" of regular rooms done up as Pirates, so . . . hmmmm . . . not sure which is the rumor and which is actually going to happen.I know that right now they are working on the Nemo rooms (at a rate of 64 a week until they are done --- 1,738 rooms total) then sometime next year will begin opening up the POTC family suites/rooms.

| I adore CBR! The resort really is very spread out. I personally wouldn't want to stay all the way over in Trinidad South. I don't want to spend half an hour walking to the food court and back for my mug refill. Maybe that's why the pirate rooms are going in Trinidad South, to get more people wanting to stay over there? |
