| We are going to rent a scooter for my father who is handicapped (cannot walk long distances). I will do this through an outside source so he has the scooter at the resort as well as parks. My question is that I need to tell WDW Ressies and want to request a ground floor room. Do we have to have the accessible rooms...(I prefer having a tub for my dd6 and the accessible bathroom is not required for my father)? I just was not certain about getting the scooter into the room? Any advice on what to request before I call WDW??? |

| If I were you I would call them and tell them what you want and why. Tell them that you need ground floor room with a tub. Explain to them just like you explained above. I have found that the staff are usually very friendly and helpful. We just stayed at the POP in April and loved it. Have fun and enjoy your trip. |
