We love CBR and stayed there last year for Thanksgiving through Dec3. The lights and things were up all over WDW. CBR had some trees up and a few things but I wouldn't call it Christmas Festive.

I would agree, they did have some things up, but nothing compared to the Deluxe resorts and the parks.

Thanks for the link. The check in area, Custom House, had all the things in the photos and it was nice but we spent 20 minutes there checking in and never saw the place again. The ginger bread houses were at the Old Port Royale area. All-in-all a few touches here and there but nothing like the parks.

Thanks for the info on the "best dressed" resorts! I guess we're doing pretty well - we have ADR's in 3 of them, so that should make it easy to see them all! Yay!

Hmmmmm...maybe we should make Boma ADR's afterall......
The others are right on our trail. Loubell---thanks, re: punkin. Amy---I was making a very spur-of-the-moment decision when I picked CBR...I had to pick a Mod and I was leaning towards POR, but my previous POFQ bus experience had me shy away from it (it was great at the FQ, but seemed pretty lacking at the R.) It was very, very, very tough to pry away from the Sassagoula, though!

Several of us PP folk are meeting up at POFQ on 12/11 @ 9AM for beignets and coffee/cocoa...join us to get your Sassagoula fix! Any/all are welcome, btw! There's a posting called "December Get Together" in "The Backyard"Forum - here's the link: DECEMBER GET TOGETHER if you need more details.

Hope to see some of ya strollin' through our CBR island paradise this Dec!

We were there the same time (11/25-12/2) and I'd have to agree. There were some holiday decorations, but I wouldn't really call it festive. But being from New England, we're used to cold and snow around the holidays, so sunny, warm Florida and walking around in shorts made it hard to conjur the holidays.
