split stay question

hey y'all DH got us a dvcmember tour of the castle suite in MK but this means we are leaving to go to WDW a day earlier. I was only able to use my points to get a studio at SSR for one night until we can check in the next day at BCV. I know that they will transfer our luggage but will the transfer us? I know when we took the DVC tour they drove us in a van back to the resort just wondering if they will do that?

I would think you just take the Disney buses to get to the next resort. But i could be wrong.

yea they will move your luggage - but you must move yourself.

those DVC vans are only for people going on the tour.

so check out or just call bell services to come get your luggage. (they will need a tip)

then once you arrive at your new place and get a room (Villa) - just call bell services to deliver it.

beaware that sometimes you won't get your luggage until 4:00pm (check in time at the DVC resorts) - so be sure to take everything you will need until then. Prescription, sunglasses, sun screen, swimming suites, etc.

You will need to transport yourselves. You can take the buses or a taxi (which I like to do if I need to have my luggage right away.)

We got lucky once, when our luggage was being moved from CBR to WL.....the van driver offered to take us too . And there was another couple in the van with our family, doing the same thing.

Usually, we just take the time to go to a park via bus for a while before going to the second resort to check in.

We had that happen once when we transferred from the GF to the WL -- we got chatting with a "suit" type about how much we ended up enjoying the GF (when we hadn't expected to.) He wanted to add to the magic, so arranged for a van to take us to the WL.
