Getting to Poly from WL?

I want to do the character breakfast at the poly but we are staying at WL. What is the easiest way to get there?

I would think that taking the boat to the MK and then hopping the monorail would be the fastest way - anyone have any better suggestions?

If you have a car, it would be a very short drive.
The most fun way would be to take the boat to MK then the resort monorail to the Poly, assuming they are all operating at the hour you need to go.

The overall easiest way might be to take a cab...

I agree that's probably the best way to go. You could also get a boat from MK to the Poly (but it stops at the GF first,) or you could splurge and get a cab from WL to the Poly. We have enjoyed taking cabs a couple of times per trip when we have ADR's at other resorts.

When we were there last we did the sleigh ride at WL and we were staying at Poly. We just drove over, it was super quick and had no problem finding parking.. We drove to florida so we already had a rented car, I'm not sure if you are going to have a car there or not.

There also is a boat to the Contemporary from WL, then you could catch the monorail from there. We took the boat for breakfast at Chef Mickey's and were the only people on it, and it was closer than going to MK for the monorail.

would go with the boat to the CR then monrail to the Polyn.

or take the bus to the MK - then monrail to the Polyn.

the bus is faster than the boat to the MK - but not as much fun.

there are 3 boats that stop at the WL - make sure you know which you want to get on.

you boated to the CR - but the monrail is not working (this has not happen lately but it did to us a couple of times)

then you walk over to the MK from the CR - and take either the ferry to the TTC or the little boat to Polyn.

if you take the ferry just follow the path to the Polyn.

I vote for using the boats. That has always been one of my favorite things about staying at the WL--having access to the boats. It may take a little longer, but it is so relaxing and to me it always is a special time of anticipation....maybe because we stayed at WL on our first several trips. I guess it holds a special place in my HEART!!!!

I would use the boats as well. If you're at the Wilderness Lodge, then take the boat over to the Contemporary (it will stop at Fort Wilderness first), then take the monorail. I always find the boats very relaxing and love to use them when we're at Disney.

Another vote for the boat/monorail option this is the transportation choice we used to go from the Poly to WCC at WL last trip.

A cab would only cost about $15 and might be totally worth it!
