| POR question So as many of you know we are going on our first WDW trip in November. There will be 5 of us. Myself, hubby, son (13), daughter (7) and my mom. My mom is very concerned about sleeping in the same room as us now. Is this room big enough to out an airobed on the floor. She rather be on the floor on a mattress then in a bed next to me and my husband.. LOL why this wasn't discussed before i have no idea. Is it a really small room? Has anyone ever stayed there with this many people? |

| I guess your staying in the room with the trundle bed? If your mom is on the small side, maybe she could have the trundle bed to herself.........leaving you and your DH a bed and your two kids a bed.

| Yeah I thought about changing the place also but it is thanksgiving and it is booked so we are stuck in there.. Was this a big mistake? We are a military family and we always stay at value hotels whenever we move or go anywhere. I wanted to stay somewhere that was an upgrade. I want our first wdw trip to be Special but now I am thinking it is going to be stressed in a small room... |

| I think it will be special. It will probably be cramped, yes, (it depends on your definition of cramped, lol) but otherwise, fine. I stayed at POR in Feb and enjoyed it very much. Your mom can sleep on the trundle bed, and that should be more comfortable for her. No worries. If you don't plan on spending a TON of time in the room, it won't be an issue, I wouldn't think!

| It would be cramped in the room with a trundle and an aerobed...guessing with your childrens ages they won't share a bed. What if she sleeps on the side farthest from you & DH bed and DD sleeps closest to you guys. Shouldn't be too bad(crowded wise) if it is a twin size and nothing bigger plus you can put it away during the day. I mean you only sleep in there right?? Here is a photo of the rooms... http://allears.net/acc/dxl24.jpg This is the trundle bed out. Not sure if it would fit between the beds and maybe you could set up the aerobed where this trundle is. http://allears.net/acc/dxl13.jpg Here is a photo looking towards the sinks. I guess you could put one of the beds(trundle/aero) in front of the beds. One bed(guessing your moms) where the trundle is. Good luck and hope these photos help.

| Don't be stressed about it! It will be fine. I have 5 kids and if we can manage in one room (and we have) then the 5 of you will be fine also. You will be spending most of your time at the parks (I'm assuming) and you only need the room for showers and sleep- you will all be so exhausted at the end of each day, the fact that you are all in one room will be irrelevant, everyone will be asleep quickly. So you can try the airmattress or just put mom on the trundle.............either way, you will have a great time!

| Let me ask you this...what size air matress are you thinking? A queen might be tight but you can most likely do it! If you are thinking about lugging a twin mattress I would just go with the trundle bed. |

| I think you should be fine...as many said the room is going to be for sleeping and showering. It is doubtful that everyone will be in the room together for a large amount of time. We stayed in the room with the trundle and we were fine. We did bring an additional comforter for the trundle just in case but my nephew loved sleeping on it... We are actually staying there again (5 in a room) in December. |

| We regularly fit an air mattress for our son between the two beds at PORiverside (and every other resort.) With the trundle bed and an airbed, there will still be a pathway from the beds to the bathroom -- you'll just have to "skootch" down the bed to get off of it. The trundles are considered to be quite comfy for the "smaller" set. Just FYI, those double beds aren't all that big -- usually, people split them so it's one adult and one child on each bed. If you tell your mom that, she might be more comfortable about it. Eileen
