| Odd question How long would it take or is it possible to take a cab from the polynesian to the back entrance of epcot? Or would it just be faster to take the monorail to epcot then walk all the way back to world showcase? Trying to plan dinner on the night we arrive. Thanks in advanced.

| In my experience it's much faster to take the monorail. Especially b/c you can walk directly to the TTC from the Poly and then get right to EPCOT. And it doesn't take but 5-6 minutes to walk through EPCOT to the World Showcase. The way to get to the World Showcase gate would be to take a cab to the Boardwalk or Beach Club resorts, and walk through the resort and down the boardwalk to the World Showcase entrance. That would take MUCH longer than hopping the monorail and walking through the park. Just my take!

| I think I'd take a bus, actually . . . it should only take roughly 20 minutes travel time to take the bus from the Poly to Epcot. If you took the monorail, you would have to either take it from the Poly to the TTC or WALK over to the TTC, then (if you ride the monorail around) go down and change platforms to get the Epcot monorail . . . and that could take around 45 minutes in just travel time (not counting any waiting or what have you). The only way that you can access the International Gateway entrance is to go to either the Boardwalk or Beach Club then walk down . . . which would take longer, IMO, than taking the bus and walking back to WS. ![]()

| You can take a cab from the Poly to the Yacht Club and walk from there. We essentially did that in July and I think it was around $20. It may save you some time, but it might not save you much walking as opposed to walking to the TTC and taking the monorail...

| I think I recall that on Tikiman's Poly site, it only takes like 16 minutes to get from the Poly to the middle of EPCOT or something? I guess he has a video of it or something. Of course, his site is down, but check it out later and hopefully it will be up!

| The cab trip took 10 minutes for us, which is what google maps estimated, as well.

| you could... There are a zillion different combinations.. but here is what I would do. Monorail over to Magic Kingdom and then take a BUS to one of the epcot hotels. (beach club maybe?) depending on where at the back of world showcase you need to be you can take a BOAT over to the gateway.. or its just a short walk.

| I'd personally take the cab to the Beach Club and walk to the International Gateway (which is what I'm assuming is what you mean by "back entrance to Epcot.") Otherwise, I'd walk from the Poly over to the Ticket and Transportation Center. Then I'd actually pick up a bus to the Beach Club and walk from there to the International Gateway. Alternatively, you could monorail to Epcot from the TTC and walk through Epcot to the IGateway. Eileen
