I am a huge fan of Pop Century. However, with that many people you would need two rooms. You may want to consider the suites at All Star Music....that is what I would do. Check into both of them and see which one you think would be the best for you and those traveling in your party. Here are some links that may be helpful....rest assured, no matter which resort you choose, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed at Pop and really liked it. You may want to consider the suites in All Stars, they have a fridge and a small kitchen area.

Personally, DH and I like ASMovies and ASports best. It's really all about what theming you'd prefer. Oh, and during what time of the year you're going. If you happen to go in early December, I'd opt for Pop to avoid the Pop Warner crowds a bit (football and cheerleading event for teens - most of them stay at the All Stars). Other than that, with 6 adults, I'd rather go for two (maybe even three?) separate rooms than the AS Music Suites simply because you get more regular beds!

A 2 1/2 year old will love all of the value resorts because they are so brightly colored

We have stayed at ASMo and POP, and we loved them both. Although I would prefer POP, if only for the fact that they do not share the buses with any other resorts, the AS all share. We stayed in August with 7 adults and 5 kids and had 3 rooms, 2 of the rooms were ajoining, and it worked out great for us.

...having stayed at both....we decided early on that POP would be "our" resort when in WDW. Besides not having a shared bus route, it seems that POP was just more "Disney" to us...if...there is such a thing. We've always had a great time there, love the pool, the bar, the food court....

....with 6 adults + the 2.5 yr old...you might ask about adjoining rooms.

all star music just had a rehab.

would not stay in the suites - heard that the fold out beds were uncomfortable for adults.

love Pop that would be my choice.

but with 6 adults might go with ASmu. especially since the rehab - it did change it alot.

4 is all the All star allow in one room and there is an extra charge for adults from than 2 in each room.

so kept in mind the extra charges. if you can get 3 rooms go with 3 rooms. then each adult gets their own bed.

I have only stayed at As Movies and Sports, but I do like Pop better than both. The theming is so fun there!! The bus thing is a huge deal for me, but at both the Allstars we had times where we did not share buses, we had our own bus.

I believe it is cheaper to get two rooms than one suite. But if you want the kitchenette, then it may be worth the money. If you get two separate rooms, you'll have to pay the $10 per day fridge fee if you need it.

Talking Love AS Music

We stay at Music every year. It's usually somewhat quieter than Sports or Movies. Pop has 2,880 room and each All Star has about 1,920--Music has fewer because of the Family Suites. Pop has three pools and the All Stars have six combined (yes, you can pool hop here). Our son is particularly crazy about the giant guitar pool with the squirting Three Caballeros.

The size of the rooms and the amenities are pretty much the same: two double beds in the rooms; food court; pools; shop and arcade. However the rooms at Music have recently been pleasantly refurished with hair dryers and even privacy curtains in many if not all rooms.

As for sharing buses, that is somewhat misleading. You may share a bus with the other All Stars--they are essentially one resort--or you may have a bus that picks up/delivers at a single resort. It depends upon how busy they are. At less busy times, we have ridden a bus from MK that did stop at Sports before Music, but most of the time the buses are fuller and thus only serve one resort. Because the resorts are so close together, its not as though you are taking a big detour--they are lined up: Sports, Music and Movies all next to each other. In fact, we hopped off at Sports one night and strolled across the parking lot to our preferred room in Music, only a couple of hundred feet further than if we had waited to get off at Music proper. The one time I rode a bus from Wilderness Lodge to AK it stopped at another Deluxe (Poly? GF?) on the way, so it's not just the All Stars that share buses!

The longest wait I have had for a bus at the resort was about 12 minutes.
