Should we get more mail from Disney?

We are doing a tri-split, (crazy) anyways we got mail from The Ploynesian, concierge, but nothing from the other 2 resorts, standard level. Is that normal?

DME aside, you should only get mail for packages, not room only.

I don't know ... we did for our room-only this summer.

It seems odd they would mail one but not the other two, unless it has something to do with being concierge at that resort. You can always call back and check just to make sure that everything is in order. As long as your reservations are in the system, it's not necessary to have the paperwork. You might also be able to access your info online, have you tried that?

if they have your email on file, they don't send room only by mail unless requested. it's a paper conservation effort they've been doing for close to a year now if not more. they email all confirmations. they're trying to do the same for packages.

you can trust me on this one. i've had at least 4 separate trips this past year alone, all room only.

bradk: Well, I certainly didn't request it, since I was trying to keep the resort a secret from my husband. When I had to call back and change the dates, that confirmation came by email, as did my first reservation at a different resort. Perhaps the one that came by mail was just a glitch in the system, perhaps that particular cm simply made a mistake, but it came in the mail nonetheless. I'm just saying it can and does happen ...

Original Poster: have you gotten everything confirmed one way or the other?

We're leaving on Friday for a stay first at AKL, and then at BWI halfway through the week. This trip was booked through DVC, and we are not using Magical Express.

I HAVE received room-booking confirmations for our trip (that came like, last April when we first booked). We're also on the Dining Plan, which they've told us we just confirm when we check in, and have AP's, so tickets aren't an issue.

I'm guess I'm just worried that I'm missing something that's going to be an issue when I get down there. Can someone reassure me that this lack of communication is normal?
