| We'll be going with the Decade of Dreams group. As of now we have Bld 5 near a smoking section pool side. My travel agent wrote asking if Id like to switch to POR as the price went down, but I think the magic at the French Quarter is more my style from what I can tell by the pictures posted. My question is being that ive never been, and all i have to go by is the map...what rooms would be best for us. As it is, it will be tough not being able to smoke in my room, i know, yuck! but hubby and i are both smokers and we continue to suck it up as Disney gradually takes away our smoking area choices. I get it, not everyone wants to smell the smoke when they are at the happiest place on earth, but we are ppl too *pouting* im babbling, sorry. where was i, so i dont want to have to walk too far, especially at night in my jammies just before going to bed. what rooms would be good for us. id like to be as close to the smoking section as possible, im ALL about the magic so id like to have that magical feel with a nice view without having to be too far away from everything, it might even be nice to be near a hottub. on the otherhand, ive also considered bld 6 near smoking with a view of the river, but reading Dave & Jennifers guide that may be hard to get. Any suggestions? Room numbers would be particularly helpful. Also, are there any links you can provide that would give me a better understanding of where everything is. a better view of the place, pictures, details, possibly an arial view? Thanks in advance |

| We stayed in Building 4 last March and our travel companions were smokers. I think it was fairly convenient for them b/c we were right beside the foodcourt and there was a smoking area right outside of the foodcourt. If you're in the foodcourt end of building 5 you could use that area, but looking at the map, there's areas right outside of 5 as well.
