| This website compiled possibly in the survey the highest rated Disney hotels. This thread is a survey to see if these site member's do or don't agree with their list. Best Disney Hotels - What Are the Best Disney Hotels its on about .com and I'm not sure how reliable that is. What I ask is that you list your top picks for best Disney resorts. We haven't yet planned a Disney vacation but where considering on doing so as soon as we have the best information this includes taking surveys. By the way I'm new to this website I have a short profile about myself listed on my passporter page. Do you agree with the website?

| The list claims that the Floridian is the best . I always had my eye on Beach Club and Boardwalk.

| I can't believe that WL didn't make the list. It's our most favorite resort. The theming is awesome!

| I think it's such a personal choice kind of thing -- I love all things Arts and Crafts, so I like the Wilderness Lodge, but find the rooms dark. And I adore the whole Animal Kingdom Lodge. But... of the deluxes, I truly feel at home at the Beach Club. (I've stayed in the Grand Floridian, but it's a little too froofee fancy for me.) All that said, the Port Orleans French Quarter is my ideal resort -- price, theming, accomodations, it has it all. Eileen

| Deluxe - nothing beats Beach Club with stormalong Bay, walking distance to Epcot and DHS, the atmosphere is great Moderate - we like POFQ lived in Louisiana for awhile and like the french quarter feel... Value - Pop Century it is fun But we also own a RV and dearly love bringing it and staying at FW

| Well... what do you like? Does a beachy theme in whites, blues, and teals appeal to you? How about Mission style furniture, woodsy fabrics and lots of trees? Or do you like the Hollywood version of the Victorian era, a la the movie "Meet Me in St. Louis?" Does the mid-century style of architecture appeal and do you like being right near the Magic Kingdom? Or would you like the orchids and dark woods of an island escape? Would seeing a giraffe right outside your window appeal? Answers to those questions would lead me to give you advice on a deluxe. Eileen

| I have my eye on Beach Club, Floridian, and Boardwalk. Because I've heard so much from Beach Club, and Floridian, Boardwalk does not have the critical praise like the other two though I have this thing in the back of my head to consider that hotel. I really want to find out what are the best of the three.

| I would personally put them in the order you listed above: 1) Beach Club, 2) Grand Floridian and 3) Boardwalk. The AMAZING pool (really a small water park) at the Beach Club and the proximity to Epcot and the Studios is just divine. The Grand Floridian has the monorail to the MK as a selling point, but it's also very spread out and can be quite the hike to the monorail or the marina. Eileen

| I agree with some of it. I see it this way: 1. Grand FL 2. Yacht Club 3. Boardwalk 4. Beach Club

| The list seems pretty accurate to me. Grand Floridian is always first although I have to agree it's a little too much to me. Our favorite for deluxe is the beach club and for moderate's is Port Orleans-riverside. Actually our all time favorite is definitly Port Orleans. Now that we are DVC members we still go back to Port for the food court. We will stay at the Wilderness Lodge this next time because we love it there too! Good luck in your planning and welcome to the passporter community. |

| Of those, I would choose BC for Stormalong Bay. But I haven't stayed at it. I've stayed at AKL, WL & CBR and have loved all of them. This summer I plan on a split stay between POR-Riverside. ( I want to stay in the Mansion section) and WL. I too can't believe it hasn't made the list. I didn't find my room dark at all, the furniture is dark wood like AKL, but there was plenty of sunlight coming into my room. I guess it depends on room location.

| My all-time fave is Port Orleans French Quarter. I honestly though have not stayed at a resort that I disliked. We usually try out a new resort each time we go to WDW, just because they all seem so great and we like having the experience. I really have a hard time seeing a big difference between the moderates and the deluxes, but that's just me, I know some people really love the deluxes. Out of Beach Club, Floridian, and Boardwalk (I have only actually stayed at the Grand Floridian), I would choose Boardwalk. I just think it has a great ambience and I love taking a leisurely walk on the Boardwalk. Good luck and hope you have a great trip!!
