| Getting from WL to DTD What is the best way to get from WL to DTD during the day? I can't remember if there is a bus that stops at WL to go there or if you have to go somewhere else to get that bus. Maybe it's just easier to drive there? I love the fact that at Disney I can just park my car and not get back in until I go home. But if it's easier. Thanks Addendum: Actually I remembered my 2009 Passporter book and looked there. It says there is a bus from the hotel to DTD. Anyone had any experience with it? Is if a very long wait? Should I drive? Last edited by MelC; 06-27-2009 at 12:57 PM.. |

| Personally, I prefer to drive here if I have a car and am shopping. First, my packages are usually big!!!! Also, the bus is about in the "middle" of Downtown Disney (close to Lego) but I tend to go to World of Disney and a few things that way and leave, so the car just works for my schedule and location.

| Yes, the busses from resorts do go to DTD. Now, that being said ... I tend to avoid them. For some reason, I have never had a short wait for them. They seem to take FOREVER to get there and they are usually packed solid. I usually drive to DTD just for that reason!!

| Thanks! My destination is actually the Princess Diana exhibit opening in July at the former Virgin Megastore. The bus stop at the Lego store would be a bit of a hike on a hot July day! I think I'll drive. |

| I see that you've decided to drive, but I'll chime in with my 2 cents so others can see it. The bus from WL to DTD also goes to TL waterpark. Where the bus will go first depends on the time of day. In the a.m., it heads to TL first. At some point during the day that changes but I don't know what time. I know that when we went from WL to TL around 2pm, we had to go to DTD first. Hope this helps someone.
