It would be fun. We've stayed at the campground twice both times in the summer. February would be a nice change. Anyways it's Florida, you never know what the weather will be like. Have a great time....

No, not crazy at all. (Says the woman who likes camping at Yellowstone when there is still snow on the ground)

That's a great time to camp at WDW. We used to live a couple of miles from there and walking the trails was a favorite pastime. It was such fun to see the RVs pull in and check in. Christmas is especially busy - some people stay for several weeks over the holidays and decorate their campsite and golf carts. It's crazy busy then, but February should be very nice. People are very friendly at Ft. Wilderness - great camaraderie.

Actually, camping in Feb in Florida is perfect. There isn't much rainfall and the temps are never really hot and humid. I think it will be nice sleeping weather.

Feb does not get a lot of rain like the summer and I don't even think it would be that cold. Have a great trip!

Wonderful time of year to camp in that area. Our trip in Feb was terrific, low census, mild temperatures, and no rain to speak of at all except the day with 4 inches.

There is a 91% chance of a Warm Day (temperature over 60°F / 16°C).
(203 days out of 224 in historical record)
Most consecutive days found in historic record: 13
There is a 1% chance of a Freezing Day (temperature below 32°F / 0°C).
(3 days out of 224 in historical record)

We camped the 2nd week of February in 2006. It was, of course, near record colds at night and our furnace wouldn't work in the camper. It was a bit chilly. I would still go again in February. You can always add blankets! We left every morning in jackets & gloves and were down to t-shirts by mid-afternoon.

FW is awesome! You'll love it.
