| My sister called me last night with a Disney question. First part: She and her husband are letting his mother tag along with them for their trip to the F&WF in October. His mother is getting her own room. However, they currently have annual passes. In order to get the AP discount on both rooms, one room is in his name and the other room is in her (my sister's) name. Second part: They are driving, but his mother is flying. Apparently they don't want to be in the same vehicle with her for 11 hours. Third part: If she takes DME from MCO to WDW (I love acronyms, don't you? If the front desk will allow this, what would my sister and her husband need to do - just call the front desk in advance and give their permission? Have his mother call them on their cell phone when she arrives, and then let them talk to the front desk to give their okay? They are considering using online checkin - would that help matters, since a credit card would already be tagged to the room, and all other info settled? Thanks for your help!

| Oh, that's true, I hadn't thought about the key cards already being printed up.

| I don't know either, but her name would be on one of the rooms. When you make the reservations they ask the names of the room occupants. Someone will know. I like the Outlets too

| You've already received the answer, but just wanted to say - as long as her name is on the reservation, there is no problem with her getting a key even if you didn't check-in online. It used to be - and it was a nightmare! - that only the person who reserved the room could get the room keys! This happened one time when my MIL flew down to Disney and we drove! She arrived early and they wouldn't let her in the room! What a fun start to the trip that was! ![]()

| Great news. That's exactly the situation they will be in. I'll let my sister know. Thanks!
