| POP Century as a solo adult? I am staying at POP in December for a solo trip...my husband didn't want to go so I am making the best of it! I needed to go value because for 1 person even moderate is a little high. I have never stayed anywhere other than Fort Wilderness - been going to WDW since I was 4 years old. Am so worried that I am going to hate POP.

| That's what I was thinking. I will miss the boat ride to MK most of all though!

| I've taken a couple of solo trips but have stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. I love it there and feel secure with everything under one roof. I've read several trips reports of others though who have gone solo and stayed at POP. They have felt very safe and had a ball. |

| I find it to be a perfectly nice resort -- not my favorite, but still good, especially for the price! It looks like you'll be there mid-December, so it won't be all the crowded and park hours won't be all that long. Just stay in the parks as much as possible and then plan for entertainments that will occupy you until it's time to sleep. I don't think you'll be disappointed at the difference between a deluxe and a value if you keep yourself so busy you're not in the room all that much. ![]() Eileen

| You'll enjoy being able to linger around the lobby & check out all the photoboxes of cool stuff from each decade - brings back great memories! And then take photos all around. I'd love some extra time to explore around POP. There is a trail along the back that I think lists historical things (?) that I didn't get a chance to explore - perhaps give that a stroll ...

| Of the value resorts POP is my favorite. The room will be just fine for 1 person. Mousekeeping is great. Stroll slowly through the lobby and take in all the stuff displayed from past generations....I love doing that....they do the hustle in the lobby in the evening.....there is a trail that leads to the lake and generation gap bridge....it is so pretty and peaceful sitting on the bridge. And you can see the other half of the resort that they quit working on after September 11, 2001 looks ghostly....Hippy dippy pool is fun and big......Adult beverages at the Pool bar are tasty....food court is huge as is the gift shop.....POP has dedicated bus system....Have a wonderful time!!!!

| When you are done in the parks you can always go to DTD for awhile. If you like to walk Pop has lots of nice area for walking. And as another poster said sitting at the pool bar, and outside the food court they have table and chairs. I am sure you will find other guests to chat with. Maybe another passporter person will be there as well. You can always check to see if anyone else is going when you are. I just went for the pin code deal and booked Pop for March. It just was to much of a temptation to not go ahead and do it. Can always cancel if work doesnt pick up soon. We need a trip to look forward to. Just got to use to going to Disney to not have one planned to look forward to . Just cant tell the Grandkids. This is a Pop Pop and Mom-Mom trip only.

| One good advantage to Pop that my mom loves is the dedicated buses. Doesn't share with anyone, so you have no other stops than your own resort. Mom goes on her own quite frequently and usually stays at Pop! Even when she has time available at her time-share condo in Kissimee. |

| I heard about that!! I am def. planning on it. I might even really nerd out and take a carriage ride too....but then again it might make me just feel lonely for my husband.

| DD9 and I stayed there in Nov. 08. I loved the store and the food court wasn't too bad. Pop will be ok for you. Even though I go solo, I still book a moderate. I like to use the hot tubs after a day in the parks and the values don't have them.
