| Christmas Decorations? Does anyone have an idea of when the decorations go up at WDW? I know MK is decorated for the MVMCP, but I was curious if the WL would have their tree up. We are going earlier this year than we usually do (nov 12-18). Thanks!

| Per Mousesavers, Walt Disney World Christmas Decorations, and Allears.net, Holidays Around the World, other great sources for Disney planning information, the decorations (aside from the ones for MVMCP at MK) generally are completed by the day after Thanksgiving. However, DH and I have been there more towards mid-November when we've seen the parks start to show signs of the holidays. I think you'll get to see some, if not all, by at least the end of your trip!

| There are reports from last year of Christmas trees going up as early as Halloween Day, I believe (in the parks). Not sure about the resorts, but I'm sure they are not far behind!

| You definitely will see them pop up here and there! You'll be amazed to see a location one day and nothing -- and the next morning, presto! Just like elves showed up overnight. (Which they did, Disney cast member elves!) Plus remember the MK has the MVMCP so it will be all decked out and ready for the 10th! Have fun!

| I know they've told us on the Yuletide Fantasy tour that everything's up by Thanksgiving and yes, we know the Christmas tree was up in 2006 on Halloween at Animal Kingdom, so they start going up either at the very end of October or beginning of November.

| They want to have them up by the week BEFORE Thanksgiving. They will do an entire resort or park overnight -- it's an amazing transformation. Eileen

| We stayed WL last year and left on Nov. 15th and I heard a CM telling a guest that they "may see some magic in the lobby" when they woke up the next morning. My guess is it will happen right before you arrive or while you're there.

| Somehow I totally forgot about all the resorts being decorated!! Now I may have to spend some time resort wandering on my trip! Or at least ride the monorail and check out the "big 3". |
