| Coronado Springs with convention? Has anyone stayed at Coronado Springs while a convention is going on? We fell in love with this resort and are scheduled to return in June 2010... but it looks like a convention is booked during our stay. I don't want to seem selfish but what is it like "sharing" this resort with conventioneers? Thanks a Bunch!! |

| We've stayed there as part of a convention and last summer we stayed while on our vacation. A convention was going on but it never affected any of our plans. I'm sure at times the market was crowded but most of the conventions have catered meals so you see very little of them. The pools were not croweded, the buses were great and the rooms are fabulous.

| a convention is likely to ALWAYS be going on there. last weekend, there was one, in fact, and you would not have really known it. the place is so spread out and i think they try to keep the "conventioneers" all together in one building....correct me someone if i am wrong on this. anyway, yes it is a very lovely place and i would definitely stay again. i just hate the dining options there.....they need a regular food court. period. and disney needs to own it. period. |

| when I was there in May there were several different conventions- and it wasnt really an problem at all- my sons did meet up with a few older drunken women late at night from some organization ( Elks, Moose- something) one night who were trying to get them to go to a party- but they were laughing about it so I am guessing it was all just in fun

| We've been there during a MENSA convention (2006) and a squaredancing convention came in midway through our stay in 2008. I think it's probably one of the best times to be there. The buses were practically empty. We only had lunch at Pepper Market a couple of times (most of the time we were in the parks during meal times)- there were more people, but we never had to wait for a table. We've never run into any drunked people, but I guess the chance of that happening is pretty much the same at every resort. We it there.

| It's fun talking with the conventioners that have brought their families to the resort with them on the buses... never really noticed them except the day they sign in because the lobby is jam packed... but CSR is really good about keeping it moving smoothly

| We would see men in suits or casual dress. You could tell they were convention goers but they were polite and professional. Wouldnt let a convention affect your decision to stay there. It is a beautiful resort!

| Been there during conventions too -- *Pepper Market was usually busy in the morning, but rarely any other time. *The pools at night can get noisy with drinking and partying going on, but we couldn't hear it in our room which was pool view. It was only a slight problem for me because I to swim morning, noon and night! I just had to adjust my swimming time or join the party. ![]() The resort really does absorb the crowd and you'll see very little annoyances.

| There are always conventions scheduled at CSR. That is a big part of their business. I've found that the conventions seem to keep the buses and pools less crowded. I have a partial list of conventions on my website.

| THANKS for all of your feedback... my family fell in LOVE with CS last year and cannot wait until we go back... I'm glad to hear that "sharing" with the conventioneers is painless... and sometimes entertaining! |
