| This may be a stupid question, but are your referring to the location in the building or the actual room number?

| We stayed in a 70s bldg (non-preferred facing away from the courtyard). I know that the two 70s buildings have preferred rooms. We thought the location was pretty ideal.

| it really depends- how much noise do you want to deal with, what floor do you prefer, do you want to be near the pool? We were in 60's just past Baloo & Mowglie, near the kiddie pool on the 1st floor, don't remember the room#, but it was a good spot, still close enough to the hippie dippie pool, and the food court, but far enough away that we didn't get the noise.

| Jeff, We just returned from a stay at POP. i believe in the 50's section the Lady and Tramp buildings have preferred rooms. We stayed in Jukebox non-preferred and the location was perfect. We were in the corner on the 1st floor, right behind the Jukebox icon. Lady and Tramp face the bowling pool. Good luck

| I just stayed in a non-preferred room, 50's section, Lady building, but on the arm the sticks out towards the parking lots, 2nd floor....and it was great! Close to the pool and the main building and not too far of a walk to the busses. We only heard the occassional toilet flush from upstairs, very quiet. |

| Jeff just remember requests are just that requests. There is no guarantee you will get what you want. But since you are staying in a prefered building I'm sure all will be fine. We have not stayed at Pop but have stayed at other value resorts and we were always happy with our prefered rooms. Have a great time. |

| We asked for a first floor preferred room in the 60's bldg. We got a corner room with the popjet fountain right in front of it. BUT there is very thick landscaping so we did not know it was there until we were exploring the resort. We LOVED this location. Short walk to everything. After hours (night) you can walk towards the 70's building from the bus stop and hang a right to the corner of the 60's building we were in. During reg hours you can walk through the food court to the bus stop. It was on the food court side of Classic Hall which is so very conveinent for refills, shopping and cutting through to the bus stop. http://allears.net/acc/popmap3.jpg on this map our room was in the 3000( exact rm # escapes me at the moment) right beside the goofy icon. I would be sure to note your knee on the request;so they know the reason you are requesting a first floor room close to everything. We really enjoyed our stay at POP . Noise was not an issue. The only con to the 60's is the parking. If you are driving be sure to unload your car while it is in the CHECK IN lot ( so much closer). It is quite a hike to the 60's lot from the 60's building. We unloaded and loaded back up in the check in lot due to this. HAPPY PLANNING and GOOD LUCK! Last edited by coasties; 11-05-2009 at 05:24 PM.. |

| Won't be long now Jeff ![]() ![]() I don't know locations at Pop, but if you are doing the 5 day fax, I would just explain what type of location you are looking for, because of your knee. I wouldn't get too technical about building or room #. The most important thing is that they know what type of location you require and why.

| You already have the preferred building so I would simply request a room close to the main hall and give them the reason you need the room (your knee). This way they will hopefully assign you to either a first floor room close to the main hall or a higher floor near the elevators.

| Thank you , all for great responces . I plan on Faxing a request 5 days in advance since we arrive at about 4pm which to me is late lol . I just want to make sure my walking is not like my last trip where they had to give me a wheel chair to get to the very end of BWV

| Good luck Jeff, I think WDW tries really hard to accommodate guests, esp. if there is a medical necessity. Sorry you had such a bad location at BWI. With a preferred room it should be better.

| I have stayed at POP twice. I had a room the second time that had a view of the fireworks at EPCOT. It was really neat to stand on my balcony and watch it. I can't remember what building I was in and they were constructing more buildings that might offer a better view. If you are interested, you could ask at the front desk. That is how I got the room. |
