Re: ACCOMODATIONS I aggree with Steve, the AKL is a good choice. The animals are fun to watch, plus there are great chilrden's activities and a great pool. Another good option in the Polynesian. It also has a great pool (shaped like a volcano) and is just a monorail ride away from the MK! Another good choice is the Yacht and Beach Club. The pool there, Stormalong Bay, is like a mini water park! Plus, the Boardwalk is just a walk away, with carnival type games and an arcade for the kids, and dancing for the adults after they have gone to bed. Also, the Yacht and Beach is just a boat or walk away from Epcot and MGM. Have fun, whichever you choose! Jacquelyn

Re: ACCOMODATIONS I always say, go with the theming that suits your family. Look at all the options available and check out what fits in your budget and then make a decision. All the people posting so far have given you Deluxe options, but there are very nice Moderate resorts and the All Stars are very nice too. If this is your first trip, I'm betting you'll be spending more time in the parks and less time in the resort, so go with a less expensive one this time. -HiddenMickey

Re: ACCOMODATIONS If it fits your budget, there can be no better place for young girls than the Grand Floridian! However, it IS Disney World, so they are going to feel like princesses wherever you stay!

Re: ACCOMODATIONS Welcome Theresa, I love the Yacht club. So much that my family bought into the Disney Vacation Club at the Beach Club Villas next door. I agree with the above posts. Figure out your budget and look at the hotel theming. Then decide which would suit your family best. I can't imagine a kid not loving any place you would pick at Disney.

Re: ACCOMODATIONS With kids on their first trip, I would go with a monorail hotel if you can afford it. If not, anything on site is good. They will have a blast no matter where they are. The value rooms are a little smaller, but still generously sized compared to some offsite motels.
