WL Villas..Iron Spike Room and Swimming Pool Question

Since I will be staying in the WL (the Lodge itself, not the Villas), am I allowed to use the Villa's pool and walk into the Villas building to check out the Iron Spike Room (and perhaps some other nice sitting areas)? I know that those who stay in the Villas enjoy the Lodge, and I wasn't sure if it could also be the other way around.

Thanks!

Re: WL Villas..Iron Spike Room and Swimming Pool Question

When we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge last December, we walked over to the Villas to check out their facilities and the Iron Spike Room, etc. It seemed to me that this was perfectly allowable. Since the weather in December wasn't all that hot for swimming, we never used their pool but I had done so last August when we were staying at WL and the main pool was really crowded. I also used the hot tub at the villas with no problems whatsoever.

Re: WL Villas..Iron Spike Room and Swimming Pool Question

I was just reading over at Deb's site, allearsnet.com, that the pool's are only for each respective resorts' guests. The villas' pool is for its guests, while the main WL's pool is for its guests, but that she (the person writing the review) didn't see how they could actually enforce it. The other facilities, such as, WCC, Roaring Forks, etc., were for all guests at either the villas or the main lodge.

Re: WL Villas..Iron Spike Room and Swimming Pool Question

Wilderness Lodge and Villas at Wilderness Lodge are all one resort. You are aloud to use any of the facilities on the resort grounds no matter which section you are staying in. The same goes for Beach Club and Beach Club Villas.

Re: WL Villas..Iron Spike Room and Swimming Pool Question

Thanks! That's good to know. I will most likely use the main pool, but I would definitely like to check out the villas building and pop into the Iron Spike Room.

You'll be more than welcome at the Villas. Here are some pictures of the Iron Spike Room.
