Changing Hotels Moving luggage I juat want to double check. If You are at one Disney resort (in this case CS) and change to a different resort half way through your stay (BC) bell services will take care of moving your luggage for you right? My in-laws will be staying at CS in November for the Real Estate convention in Orlando. After the convention is over they are going to stay a few more days on us, using our DVC points and will be staying at Beach Club Villas. Bell services will move luggage correct? What do I need to tell my in-laws about getting their luggage moved. We have always stayed in one spot. Thanks! Jennifer

Re: Changing Hotels Moving luggage Your in-laws should call Bell Services at CSR either the night before to set up a pick-up time or the morning of the switch to have their luggage picked up. It will be moved to the next resort and will be at the Bell Services storage in the afternoon at check in time. Have them take whatever they'll need for the late morning/early afternoon with them when they check out. -HiddenMickey

Re: Changing Hotels Moving luggage Hi Jennifer. One bit of advice: try to actually be there when bell services picks up your luggage and get your receipt stating they are moving it to another resort. When we stayed at POR last month she told me to just leave it in the room with a tip and the bellman would pick it up and transfer it for me. Well, he picked it up all right, but marked it down as a check-out. When I went to check in at ASMu at 2, they told me my baggage wasn't there yet!! I had called bell services at POR at 9 that morning. They said it wasn't required to be there until 3. So our swimming plans were out. When we came back at 5 it still wasn't there, so they finally called POR and found out it was still sitting there as a check-out. So I had to wait another 1/2 hour in our room for the luggage to arrive.

Re: Changing Hotels Moving luggage We had a similar experience as Tina did moving from the GF to the BWV. It was frustrating, especially when the GF swore up and down the had transferred it but had no idea where to, then once they did find it, wanted us to come over to get it. ![]() We didnt' get it until after 7:00pm, and only then because the BW sent someone to the GF to get it for us. We missed our PS for dinner, and were none to pleased. I now move my luggage myself, even if it means spending teh $15 cab fare. At least I know where it is, and can get to it if I need to. Anne

Re: Changing Hotels Moving luggage Wow! I've had my luggage moved for me three times at different resorts and NEVER had a problem with it getting to where it was going. (We did greet the bellman). When moving from CBR to WL one year, they even moved our family and another couple in the van along with our luggage. (The guy asked if we wanted to ride along!). -HiddenMickey
