CBR Room request I have 45 days until I leave, and I need to send in my room request. Which area should I suggest at CBR? We don't have kids, and would like something quiet--i.e. not near the main pool. I don't mind walking far, and I'd much rather stay in the prettiest area than the most convenient area. We will be driving everywhere, so I don't need to be close to the bus. Any suggestions? THANKS!

Re: CBR Room request Every "island" has it's own quiet area. If you want to be really far away from everything, I would stay in Trinidad South. Although I've stayed in Jamaica, and the area is quiet and close to the bridge that crosses over to Old Port Royale (main area). As for the prettiest, that is a personal preference. Have you checked out allearsnet? That website will give you a ton of info on the hotel, plus you can look at pictures to see what area of the property you like best. Melissa

Re: CBR Room request We stayed in Arubu (building #53) - across the bridge from Old Port Royal but not too bad a walk. We were on the ground floor and faced out into a courtyard with a view of the next building. I liked the look of the buildings in Jamaica, which is right next to Aruba. According to PP - building #25 (Martinique preferred) has some outstanding water views (rooms 2524, 2525, 2556, 2557) Even with a car, I don't know that I would want to stay in Trinidad - just seemed way to far away from everything. Your building location can make more of a difference than the actual 'island'. I'd make a request for a specific building (and ground floor) within a certain island. Some buildings have one side that faces the street, others will look out onto a courtyard or another building. Refer to the resort map or the map in PassPorter to get a better idea of available views.
