split ressies at same resort b/c of UPH-worth it? I am planning a trip to POFQ Nov 2-5. I booked with AAA rates. I was advised that if I wanted to get UPH's at the advance purchase price, I should make ressies for the arrival day seperately, since I didn't want to pay for UPHs for that day- we are arriving late in the afternoon and have PSs for Spoodles. I did so, making two ressies, one for one night, and one for the following two nights at the same resort. I looked into the pricing, and it turns out that there isn't a big price difference between advance price and just purchasing at the resort and asking to have the first day knocked off the UPHs. Should I change the ressies? I am concerned about the hassle of chekcin/checkout and the possibility of having to change rooms. We only have three days at the parks, and I don't want to worry about taking time out of touring to take care of it. Does anyone have experience with this? Should I worry about this, or is it not a big deal to split ressies? Please advise! Thanks alot in advance!

Re: split ressies at same resort b/c of UPH-worth it? I would keep the reservations the way you have them--just make sure the two reservations are linked as continuing reservations. They will do everything they can to keep you in one room (just remember to tell them when you check in). Checking out and back in again won't take as long because they won't need to go over much with you, but will get your UPH cards on your new room keys at that time. I would just plan to be up a bit earlier that you normally would and get it done before you leave for the parks in the morning. You can't be guaranteed that they will knock off the first day's UPH if you do it as one reservation (and that would keep me from trying it that way).

Re: split ressies at same resort b/c of UPH-worth it? I did something like that in Feb. We arrived late, and I did not want to pay for Platinum package for 3 hours!, the next day when I awakened, my new room keys (with the plan on them) and a note saying that I need do nothing else was under the door of our room! I would leave it as is, and just remind them at check-in (the first time) that you are continuing on a different ressie next day.
