Boardwalk vs Contemporary vs Poly vs YC or BC?

HELP! Which resort do you all experts think is best for me and my 13, 15 year old boys to stay at? I want easy acess to food (breaksfasts, snacks)quiet at night, nice pool. Boys want ACTION and FOOD!!! Any opinions would be appreciated. With specials all are pretty comprable in price at the moment. I n the past have stayed at PO, CBR,and ASM. PO our favorite so far. Thanks!!! Sheila

Re: Boardwalk vs Contemporary vs Poly vs YC or BC?

I've never stayed there but I think, from all I've heard, that the Yacht or Beach Club sounds the best for your family. The boys should love Stormalong Bay and it is close enough to walk to the Boardwalk for some action. At the same time it is removed enough not to get the nightime noise. Easy acces to food is available at all the resorts.

Good luck with your decision!

I would have to agree with Cruella. I've stayed at the Dolphin and the Boardwalk, both a few minutes' walk from the Yacht and Beach Club. It has a really cool pool, and Beaches and Cream is a perfect restaurant/ice cream parlor for teenage boys. The action on the Boardwalk is a short walk away, but you won't have the noise if you stay at YC or BC.

Yacht and Beach club ALL THE WAY!!! We've stayed there only once (all others port orleans, poly, and soon to be ..... All Star Movies. But if given the "choice" -- the Yacht and Beach club is my all time FAVORITE!!! Enjoy!!

I have to agree on The Yacht and Beach Club! I think you and your boys would love it and it's close proximity to The Boardwalk, Epcot and MGM. Not to mention Beaches and Cream is the best!

Take care-

Another vote for the Yacht and Beach Club--it is fantastic! The pool is sooo much fun and Beaches and Cream is the best! Plus it is so close to so much it will be great for your boys to go on their own if that's what you all want!

Have a great time!!!!

Re: Boardwalk vs Contemporary vs Poly vs YC or BC?

The Beach Club side is definately the way to go. It has a real "down-at-the-shore" atmosphere to it. At the Yacht Club, I always feel a need to be more formal (it's all that brass and hardwood floors!), while the Beach is nice and casual.
Plus, it's near Boardwalk, which we all know is currently a hotbed of action.
Of course, the Poly is the next best thing to actually being in Hawaii. Think of it: Disney and Hawaii in one!
