Laundry facilities at CBR and WL During our week stay we will be changing resorts midway through. This will also be the time when we will probably want to do a load or two of laundry. I need some info on the laundry facilities at CBR and WL. Where are they located and are there a lot of washers and dryers? Is there anything to do near them (pool, bar, patio to sit on, etc)? I am trying to figure out when to fit laundry duty into the vacation and which resort I should do it at. Thanks in advance... HiddenMickey (who did laundry at ASMu last time and toured the resort while it washed and dried).

Re: Laundry facilities at CBR and WL CBR: There's a laundry room adjacent to every quiet pool (one pool per "island"). There are at least a half-dozen washers and a half-dozen dryers at each. Just load 'em up and in a few seconds you can be lounging by the pool. No bar nearby. Bring quarters - the change machine was broken when we were there, and it was quite a hike to obtain change. We called the front desk, and they dispatched someone with change, but it took a while. WL: Laundry room is on the ground floor, just down the hall from Roaring Forks (snack bar), right next to one of the North wing elevators, and about 100 feet from the pool. Libations are available within a couple hundred feet, both at the pool bar and the bar in the lobby. There are again about a half dozen (or more) washers and dryers. I've done laundry at both resorts and had no problem scurrying back and forth to my room in between loads (we spend a lot of time at the computer during our research trips). ------------------ Co-Author, PassPorter Walt Disney World http://www.passporter.com/wdw/ [This message has been edited by Dave Marx (edited 07-14-2000).]

Re: Laundry facilities at CBR and WL I did our laundry at CBR. Here are a few hints: 1. Take your room key with you because you need it to gain access to the laundry room. (I didn't bring mine and had to hike back to my room for the key.) 2. Bring detergent and stuff from home in a zip-lock baggy. The vending machine ate my money, so I spent $1.75 instead of $1 for soap. Sit back by the pool and relax while you're doing your laundry. I found that this was the perfect time to update my PassPorter 2000 with our trip highlights!
