Room requests

We faxed our room requests tree days before our arrival at PO and they were all granted. There were fifteen of us in total, five room. We had asked for adjoining rooms, all together. We got those and our request for building 5. This is, in my opinion, the best location. We had a pool/spa view(with a laundry room view, but it was hidden behind the bushes). It was just steps to the food court. Thanks Passporter!!

Re: Room requests

I can second that! Thanks Passporter! Just back from the Poly and we had 6 rooms, all on the same floor, with a pool view, close to everything. It was a great trip and that request to the room controller was a great idea~

Re: Room requests

I just printed out the Room Request from this site, to fax to the RC at DxL! I have second thoughts, though, on if it's better to call and talk personally to the RC. How do you know that the RC got your fax with your requests? Or should I do both, fax the requests AND call?

Re: Room requests

There's little chance you can speak directly to the room controller. Much more likely you'll talk to one of the front desk people. On the other hand, the fax should be seen by the right person. They generally prefer faxes over phone calls as they can deal with faxes in a more orderly fashion.

If you want to be extra-sure, fax in your request a few days in advance, then phone the resort about 24 hours before your arrival. That way, whatever person you speak to can confirm whether your requests have been received.
