| combining conference and vacation In addition to our upcoming vacation (27Nov-3Dec at SOG), we just found out that my husband has the chance to attend a conference at Hotel Royal Plaza next March. Because we will have FL season passes (we are FL residents but live out of state due to military service) we thought it would be a good way to get more use out of them if we could combine business with pleasure. Have any of you done this? What about staying at one of the Disney resorts during the conference, or switching over after it ends? Karen |

| Re: combining conference and vacation My mother and father have done this a lot and it works out very well. What they usually do is book a hotel (usually a Disney one) for five days before the conference. Then, we vacation there for the five days before, and when the time of the conference comes up, My family flys home, and the one that has to stay, stays. Quick easy, no problem. Of course, you could have your family join you after the conference--that's what I'm doing with one of my friends in April. But you might be too tired that way. Good luck! |
