Marriot World Center The Annual Nurse Practitioner meeting is in Orlando this year, in late June til July 2nd. It's at the Marriot World Center. Anyone ever stay there? We recently stayed at the Poly and the BC, loved them both. We have APs....DH thinks it's nutty to go to Orlando AGAIN! I would like to go to the conference and was looking for opinions about the hotel. The conference rate is pretty good (about $125 a night). Is this a nice hotel, and will hubby and daughter have enough to do there while I am "in school?" Thanks Diane

Re: Marriot World Center Hi DianeB! This place looks HUGE! Have you checked out Hospitality online site? The resort may offer bus or other transportation to area attraction. ------------------ HAPPY PLANNING! & "Remember the Magic!" šoš Take Care, debe-nj

Re: Marriot World Center This is a full service Marriott. It is absolutely beautiful! The $125/night rate is a really good rate. The Hotel is very clean. I work in the hospitality industry (our company owns Marriotts, Holiday Inns, Best Westerns....) and I can honestly say you'll enjoy yourself there. As for transportation to WDW...I do not know. This is a huge Hotel and you can very easily get lost in it!!! They have a great looking outdoor pool. You can call Marriott at 800-228-9290. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have. You can also go to www.marriott.com and go to the Orlando World Center page which will list their amentites there too! kelly

Re: Marriot World Center Welcome to the PassPorter Message Boards kelly david! Thanks for passing on that information for DianeB. When I first looked at this resort(on-line), I couldn't believe the size. I have never stayed in a Merriott but have Holiday Inn's & Best Westerns and have nothing but praise for these places. ------------------ HAPPY PLANNING! & "Remember the Magic!" šoš Take Care, debe-nj

Re: Marriot World Center That sure is a great rate! Rack rate for that resort is closer to $280. As noted, it does have a lot of on-site recreation including golf, shopping, etc. Shuttle bus service to theme parks is available only at an extra charge. ------------------ Co-Author, PassPorter Walt Disney World 2001 http://www.passporter.com/wdw/
