room requests

Does it matter what time you check in if you have a room request? Do the people who check in earlier have a better shot at their request even if you faxed yours 3 days earlier?

Re: room requests

IMHO, Disney will do all they can to honor the requests their guests have made. However, they cannot guarantee said requests.
In my personal experience, I have not faxed my requests to the resort. I have just stated them when making the ressies through CRO. When I arrive at the resort, the resort computer already has my preferences listed on the screen. The CM will usually show me some different available options and let me play a part in choosing my room, or the CM will give me advice re: "better views," better proximity to certain things, etc.
When I have went, it has always been off-season, and I have always checked-in earlier than 3PM.
With all that said, if you are able to try to check-in earlier, it may be to your advantage (as to avoid the 3-4PM crunch at the check-in desk), but don't sweat it. Heck, you are on vacation in the most magical place in the world.
