Wilderness Lodge Questions Hi Everyone, I have been reading these boards for several weeks and finally am posting questions. We are planning to try to stay at the Wilderness Lodge for 10 days sometime during the first 2 weeks of November. We would like to take full advantage of early-entry days. How is the Wilderness Lodge transportation for those early days? My other question - Am I reading the rates right about this one - Is the WL the lowest priced hotel that has queen beds? We really prefer those to doubles. Thanks for all your insights and words of advice. ------------------ Surabi

Re: Wilderness Lodge Questions We stayed at WL with our 2 year old in October 2000. We found the fastest mode of trasportation to be the Ferry boats. We were at MK in a matter of minutes. From there we could hop on the monorail to Epcot or the ticket and transportation center. We had PS for Cindy's at 7:45 on Monday(early entry day at MK) and we had no trouble getting there. Have a great time. We LOVE the WL. Staying at DAKL in September.

Re: Wilderness Lodge Questions I think you are correct about the bed situation. All the moderate and value resorts have two double/full size beds or one king bed in the rooms. The deluxe resorts have two queens or one king and the AKL and WL have the option of one queen and a set of bunk beds. The WL lodge is the least expensive of the deluxe resorts. We never tried early entry from WL for any of the parks so I can't answer that question. Check with guest services at WL about the first buses of the day and when the first boat leaves from MK. I'm sure they have it worked out so that you can be there in plenty of time for EE. -HiddenMickey

Re: Wilderness Lodge Questions We just stayed at the VWL in March. Transportation was great. I usually drive,s ince I'm Mr. Impatient, but I found bothe the buses and Boats werw quick and frequent. If you are planning EE make sure you get there early for Das boat. They fill up quick, I think WL is the last stop before MK. Good Luck, and have fun. ------------------ BWV (3/00) VWL (2/01)

Re: Wilderness Lodge Questions My family and I (kids are 6 & 8) are staying in a 1 bedroom villa at the WL at the end of October. I'm interested in a room that is close to the lodge itself. Any suggestions? Thanks!
