Beach Club

For those of your that have stayed here, what did you think? Also, is there a certain type of room I should request with a good view?

Re: Beach Club

We stayed at the BC in January. We really liked it for the proximity to Epcot and MGM. It was too cold most of the time we were there to swim, but the pool is terrific! My 5 yr old DD lovesthe pool. It is her new favorite.

We stayed on the Epcot end of the resort. It made walking to Epcot or catching the boat to MGM very convenient.

The view from our room was of trees, and we could see the top of the fireworks at Epcot.

I guess I don't know what you are looking for. Let me know if you have any specific questions or what it is you would be most interested in knowing.

Re: Beach Club

I stayed at the Beach Club in November in room 2530. It was at the Epcot end and extremely close to the entrance. We could see fireworks from the room and it also had a full balcony, was a non-smoking room, and had 2 queen beds and a daybed.

Re: Beach Club

My all time favorite resort :-)

I prefer a water view room on the second floor near the lobby. Why you ask? Well, because I love the full balcomies, I love being able to walk up the stairs rather than wait for the elevators, and I like to be near the lobby to easily get to StormAlong Bay and the gift shop and Beaches and Cream.

OK, other good views are at the far end of the resort with an Epcot view, but this is hard to get, and not guaranteed.

Some tips- be sure to ask for a full balconey. The standard views can be pretty yucky--a rooftop for example.

Our last trip we were first floor by the quiet pool, it was very quiet and easy to go out a side door to Epcot. We were visited by ducks several times ont he patio.

I love this resort for the location, and the decor (bright and airy).

Re: Beach Club

The bus transportation was surprisingly good. We only had to take buses to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Downtown Disney, and we never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus.
