First Time Visitor Ideas I am going to WDW in November of this year! (Can't wait!) It will be my sixth visit. Because of how much of a fanatic that I am, I've convinced a very good friend of mine to go with me. It will be her VERY FIRST VISIT to WDW!! Altho I'm getting to know the ins and outs of the world and I think I will be able to show it to her in style, I was wondering if anyone had some "special first timers" ideas to help me out!! Especially for the first day of the visit! I've got some ideas but would appreciate any other ideas from veteran WDW visitors. Thanks in advance for the help!

Re: First Time Visitor Ideas When is your arrival time? If you get there somewhat early, make plans for MK. IMHO, it is the most magical of the parks. Something about standing at the end of Main Street and seeing the castle for the first time.... If you don't have time to visit a park, consider a dinner reservation. Maybe the California Grill at the Contemporary. Has a great view of the MK... especially if fireworks are scheduled for that night. Downtown Disney is great as well. Good restaurants, shopping and the Adventurer's Club is great way to kick off a WDW vacation.

Re: First Time Visitor Ideas Hi Colo Dizfanatic! It's great to see someone else here from Colorado. Since most flights from DIA or the Springs put you in Orlando at about 2:30 or later, that doesn't give you a lot of time. However, you will be amazed at what you can squeeze in in a short amount of time! First, a few questions: Were are you staying? What type of passes are you purchasing? Will you have a car? If you're staying on-site, check into your resort, throw your bags in the room, and get ready to have fun. Depending on what type of park pass you buy, I would take the resort bus to either MK or Epcot. If you head to MK enter the park and head toward Cindy's Castle. Grab a snack (I prefer Mickey Bars If you go to Epcot, enter the park and head for Spaceship Earth. Check to see what time IllumiNations is showing. Grab a quick dinner and find a place around the WS Lagoon to watch the show. You may want to get a PS time at a restaurant, but flying from Denver you really never know what time you will actually arrive at your destination. For your first full day I would start with a character breakfast. Eating at the Castle would be a wonderful start to your day. You and your friend are going to have a blast. You don't need anyone to carry your bags do you? [ 06-28-2001: Message edited by: Fortissimo ]
