At CBR in 1999 there was a band that played at night at Old Port Royal. Has anyone stayed there lately? Does the band still play at night or was that a seasonal thing or what? [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

They played in June/July of 2000. They only played a few nights because the weather was yucky. They are very good.

DH loves steel drums and this band is what made us decide on CBR.

Thanks!! I hope they are there this time. We stayed in Jamica and you could hear the Calypso music from across barefoot bay. Definately felt more like the islands!!!!

They were not there on our visit this May (2001).

They were there in June of 2000, but not July of this year. I liked them too and missed them!
