Help...I have a moral dilema here

My in-laws and my husband,me& kids have had res. at AS Mo for months. We both booked separate rooms at $77 per night. Then I found out about AAA discount for$69. Since res. are in sep. names I could only get discount for our room. Father-in Law calls back to get DC discount but it wasn't available. So they are still at the $77 rate. Since I'm new to the message boards, I didn't find out abou AP rate of $49 until today. I called and could get it(and did) for our room. When the CM checked for thier room, it wasn't available. She said apparently we got the last one. My little 4 year old has her heart set on Movies (and so do I). I can get us both the discount at Music. This is where the dilema comes in. I really don't want to switch to Music but it could save my in-laws BIG bucks too. I just don't know what to do. Help!! I haven't told them I can definitely get the discount if we switch. However, as first timers, they are depending on me to get them the best deal. On the other hand they were perfectly content paying the $77 to begin with. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Could you keep one room at $77 and the other at $49, and split the difference? If the two rooms combined are $121 (you'll probably want to check my math there ), you could, to be fair, pay $60.50/night each, right? Just an idea -- but at least that way, you could stay at Movies as you wanted.

Re: Help...I have a moral dilema here

Here's another thought:

You could stay at ASMo and your folks could stay at ASMu. Depending on which building you are in, it can literally be a walk across the parking lot to the other resort.

I will be doing this with my parents in Dec. I'll be at ASMu and they will be in ASMo. Just another option. You could also continue to call every day and see if another room opens up at ASMo.

Re: Help...I have a moral dilema here

AsMo and ASMu are exactly the same as resorts, same size, same features, just a different outside. What it seems your 4-year-old has his/her heart set on is seeing the giant Woody, giant Buzz, giant Dalmatians, etc. And of course there is no restriction from taking a short stroll across the parking lot and using all of Movies' facilities. I say, if you both can get AsMu cheaper, do that and whenever you want to visit AsMo, jaunt on over for a bit and play in Andy's room.
