| Romantic Resort Ideas? Hi All ~ My fiance (David) and I are going to WDW in February, the 8 - 18th to be exact. We were first considering Wilderness Lodge, and then or course my mind starts working in overdrive (always when I am trying to fall asleep)and one thought becomes another...and anyways...we started thinking about PO-Riverside (Magnolia Bldg.)just because it seems more secluded, more romantic, etc. Does anyone have any thoughts? suggestions? |

| Re: Romantic Resort Ideas? Your thinking pretty much reflects mine! I thought the WL sounded cool, but awful expensive. Then read more on PO and thought it sounded very elegant and romantic. So that's where we're booked. We're staying in the French Quarter though, rather than Magnolia Bend. I liked the idea of all the secluded little gardens and all the wrought iron. |

| Re: Romantic Resort Ideas? Disney World is just a flat-out romantic place so the choices can seem rather limitless. Mostly, romance is an attitude and if you and your loved one are in the right state of mind... I have not stayed at either of the resorts you are considering, but I can recommend this. Once you make up your mind! Don't fret about it. IT WILL BE ROMANTIC! And you can always go again, and again, and again... Good luck! You will have a wonderful time! | Re: Romantic Resort Ideas? I second the notion that anywhere in WDW can be romantic, if you want it to be, even with 3 kids! How about "resort hopping"? A lot of people seem to enjoy it, and it will give you a chance to try BOTH resorts. |

| Re: Romantic Resort Ideas? The Wilderness Lodge is an AWESOME resort with overall better amenities - if it's your honeymoon, you may want to consider "splurging". Personally, I'd choose WL over PO, however, any resort you choose can be romantic - it's what you make of it. I'll admit that we haven't stayed at PO, but we did stay at Dixie Landings two years ago and we did enjoy that resort tremendously. You just can't go wrong w/ any Disney resort! Enjoy! |
