| Re: best western lbv Hi Diz, Gonzo, my brother and I stayed at the Best Western LBV in May 2000 and really enjoyed it. The room was a nice size. Make sure to request a room facing the parks (I believe these are non-smoking only) to see the fireworks from MK and Epcot. The food was okay, and the bus service was consistent every half hour. It is possible to buy tickets, including E Ride tickets, at the gift shop in the lobby. The hotel is also a hop, skip and jump away from the Crossroads shopping center. You can read about BWLBV and and see my pics of the hotel at the following site: tikibird's May 2000 trip report Let me know if you have any other questions. | Re: best western lbv tikibird, thanks for the info. i read your trip report. i enjoyed your pictures. we stayed at all-star movies 10/99 and enjoyed that resort. when we stayed there we had 2 rooms because my mother-in-law came with us so she and my one son shared a room. this time she won't be going along. we have 5 in our family so i really don't want to get 2 rooms again due to the cost. i've looked at dixie landing but it will cost alittle more than i want to spend. we are doing the discovery cove thing so we have to cut back somewhere due to the cost for this (little over $1000). i have 3 boys (7,8,12)and i know this will be a once in a lifetime adventure for them. they do not know about this entire trip and i hope to keep it that way until we arrive down there!! thanks again for your info. |
