DISNEY LAND/ sEA VACATION Hi, I'm new to the board and am traveling in October on a land sea vacation. We are starting with 4 days at the Grand Floridian, followed by the 3 day cruise. I would like to know if anyone has stayed in or seen the royal suites on the ship, as we have one and I would like a preview. Also we have concierge room at the GF and I would like to know if that usually includes a lagoon view or the likelihood of being upgraded to one. Finally, I have all the guidebooks and the passporter is far and away the greatest.

Re: DISNEY LAND/ sEA VACATION Wow, you guys are going all out! Sounds great. I think Jennifer and Dave had a chance to look into a suite on one of the Disney cruise ships before, but they are at WDW starting today and may not see this post for a week or so. I believe all the concierge rooms at GF are in the main building. Many of those room overlook the water. You might want to give your concierge a call and ask him/her about room views (have you been contacted by your concierge yet?). -HiddenMickey

Re: DISNEY LAND/ sEA VACATION Well, never having stayed in a concierge room, I am not talking from experience....but through what I've read on various sites. Usually about a month or so before your stay you should get a call from the concierge to "welcome" you to your resort and see if there are any things that they can do for you before you get there (i.e. help with making PS arrangements, reserving tennis time, golf outings, etc). You might be able to call the GF main number and ask for the concierge staff to get some questions answered now. -HiddenMickey

Re: DISNEY LAND/ sEA VACATION The suites on the ships are gorgeous and too die for! You will love it. Very roomy (actually, all DCL rooms are roomy compared to other cruise lines) and nicely decorated. Not sure exactly what info you want, but I can assure you, you will be pleased. Enjoy your "Grand" vacation!

Re: DISNEY LAND/ sEA VACATION Dear bellebobo, I was perusing the archives and noted you did the land sea in 10/01 at the GF. I was wondering how it was as I am planning this for 5/03. Michelle
