Additional fee for adult? We're going to WDW in November and my sister-in-law just asked if she could go with us. That will mean 3 adults in a room with one 12 year old. Does anyone know if we'll be charged an additional fee because we have 3 adults instead of two? This may be a dumb question, but I don't want her to have to pay anything on the room unless we're being charged extra. Some places charge a fee if there are more than two adults per room. Also, will my 12 year old be considered a child still or an adult? At what age do kids reach "adult" status?

Re: Additional fee for adult? I believe there is an extra fee for the hotel room for the 3rd adult - maybe $15. Your 12 year old is considered an adult for park admission, but not for the hotel room.

Re: Additional fee for adult? There is a fee for more than two adults. The fee depends on the resport catagory. It's $25. at deluxes. Children are considered to be persons under 18, and are not charged when staying in a room with an adult. Diane

Re: Additional fee for adult? Disney expects there to be only 2 adults per room, and if you exceed that, there is a fee. $5/night - for the extra adult in a Ft. Wilderness cabin $10/night - at the Value resorts $15/night - at the Moderates $25/night - at the Deluxes Kids under the age of 18 stay free in the room with their parent - as long as you do not exceed the capacity of the room.

Re: Additional fee for adult? Just a side note -- I was on the phone with a reservations CM who said the extra fee isn't necessarily enforced. So, if you're a person who likes to bend rules a bit, you could just "conceal" the fact that you'll have an extra adult in the room during check-in and therefore skip the fee.
