Re: bunk beds?

I stayed at AKL in June and my girls slept in the bunk beds. In my opinion, I don't think someone that tall could comfortably fit in one. My 100 lb. 5'2" 15 year old, found it long enough, but likes a good bit of room when she sleep and they are quite narrow. She complained about not enough room.

Re: bunk beds?

I am 5'9" and slept on one of the bunk beds in our room at the Ft Wilderness Cabins. It was cramped for sure.

Re: bunk beds?

We stayed at DAKL. My brother is 5'11' and slept in the bottom bunk. He did not complain.

Re: bunk beds?

The bunk beds are the size of a regular twin-size bed. The constrait would be that the end boards will keep tall people from letting thier feet hang off the end. Comfort will depend a lot on whether a person sleeps spread out or in fetal position.
