All Star Vacation Homes? My group is really desiring space on a budget. (and 2 one-site rooms is not cutting it but away-from-home are not in the budget). Has anyone rented from All Star? What was your experience? Any assistance you could give would be greatly appreciated. TIA Steph A

Re: All Star Vacation Homes? I did not see them until I had already rented another home. I used this website http://www.villas2000.com/ which was recommended by another Passporter who rented through them first. Our trip is in June and we have rented through the owner. So far the transaction has been smooth and we are paid in full waiting for our trip. For our group of 7, we could not afford three rooms onsite for a week. I paid $700 for a week with a house with a pool, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, fully furnished.

Re: All Star Vacation Homes? We rented a 5 bedroom home in December 2003. It was gorgeous! My whole family went (11 total) Until then, we were always Disney Resort Hotel people--BUT--when you are able to walk into a huge house and relax in your own hot tub at the end of a wonderful Disney Day, it's worth it!Our living room had a big screen TV, DVD, and Playstation. We also had a washer/dryer and a game room in what was the garage. We cooked several meals at home to save $$$-in fact our house even had a BBQ grill. Everything in the house was picture perfect. I would highly recommend it !!!

Re: All Star Vacation Homes? We've used them several times. They are great to work with and the homes we've rented were beautiful. I often do consulation work in the Orlando area and I take the kids with me renting a house for the time we are there. We can then sneak in a little DW and still enjoy having space. The homes come full equiped with everything listed on that particular homes web page. The pools are great, I really enjoy the privacy. If your group is a large group a large home would be perfect. Everyone would be together yet you could still have plenty of bedroom space and privacy. The kitchens have been fantastic and there is a great Publix just west on 199 to shop for groceries. If you want anymore info you can PM me. Have fun looking at the homes, I love the virtual tours.

Re: All Star Vacation Homes? We always rent through www.rentalo.com and get great rates and great places to stay. You can tell them what you are looking for and how much you are willing to spend, then negotiate from there. We usually rent 4-5 bedroom houses with pool and pool heat included for $95-100/night. These regularly rent for $110-$150/night, so negotiate. Ten minutes from maingate or closer. Be sure to ask how close before renting. The good thing about this site is you get a lot of offers within the first hour and lots more latter. Do not include phone # or they will all call, just e-mail address. Good luck.
