| Contemporary Tower Club "Concierge Light" Does anyone have any thoughts about whether staying at the Tower Club level is worth the extra $$? There are no 14th floor rooms left (even if there were, we really can't afford them! ) but we were considering Tower Club if it is worth the extra $70 per night. | Re: Contemporary Tower Club "Concierge Light" We stayed on the 12th floor (Tower Club?) on our first ever visit to MK. We had concierge service on this floor, with a great continental breakfast every day, lemonade and cookies in the afternoon and concierge service at our beckon call. It was wonderful. If you can afford it, go for it! The past two years we stayed at BC with no concierge, and though it was wonderful, I had to pack an entire suitcase with continental type breakfast items and snack items to eat in the afternoon. We really missed the stuff at the Contemporary. In addition, we stayed there during the busy spring break season, and every morning the concierge would make us dinner reservations. That's not to say you shouldn't do your own planning ahead, but many times they would give us a special card that we handed in at the restaurant and we were seated very quickly. I LOVED it there, and if I could afford it, I would do it every time. Request a room with a view of the castle and you can watch fireworks from your balcony every night, say good night to the castle and wake up every morning with a peaceful view of the castle. Enjoy!!! |

| Re: Contemporary Tower Club "Concierge Light" Well, I just joined the Disney Club and got our Tower rooms at an extra 10% off, meaning that upgrading to Tower Club would mean an extra $110 per night ! I figure we could get a really nice room service breakfast and an afternoon snack for less than that and I have already made all our dining reservations. So... I guess for us its not worth it. But thanks a bunch for your response. |
