| Contemporary Tower We're going to WDW in 3 weeks and staying at the Cont. in Tower. does any one have a recommendation of a good room with a castle view to ask for? Preferably away from Chef Mickey's and high enough above the monorail... I want to call over Easter to ask for a good room. Thanks! | Re: Contemporary Tower We stayed in the Tower twice on the MK side. Inside our room, we did not hear the monorail and even outside the door, the monorail just makes a slight swooshing sound. And one time we stayed on the floor right above the Monorail stop. As for Chef Mickey's, both times we were in the middle of the Tower by the elevators. We did not hear Chef Mickey's with the door closed. The Tower is great, watching the MK fireworks and the water parade from your balcony. We could see the water parade doing it's thing in front of the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. |

| Re: Contemporary Tower Back in 1997 we stayed in the tower. I think we were on the 5th or 6th floor. Noise was no problem. I requested a room facing MK and got it, but I'm sure the view of the lagoon is lovely as well (we had that view from the Garden Wing the year before). |

| Re: Contemporary Tower I wish I could remember my room nbr. I was on the 12th floor and we faced the castle. it was beautiful at night when they changed the lights and had the fireworks. |
