Has anyone stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort recently or are planning on in the near future? We are going this summer. Thank you for the help.

Hey! You might check the trip report forum - I belive that Kruggie just got back from the CBR. We stayed there in 1996 and enjoyed it! Great pool and nice food court, and I believe the resort just underwent a major refurbishment! ENJOY!

Re: Caribbean Beach Resort

I stayed there in 9/2001. The resort is beautiful! There was only 2 of us, so the rooms felt very spacious. Having the double sinks was a definite plus! We stayed in North Trinidad. It was very close to Old Port Royale. The Food Court was pretty good too! I'm sure you'll enjoy CBR!

Re: Caribbean Beach Resort

Yup!
Dadtojbj was right! Just go home a little while ago from a stay there and I must agree with the above mentioned!
Awesome pool, great food court and the rooms are quite nice, I also stayed in Trinidad North which was comfortably close to Port Royal.

Dont forget to have a Dirty Banana!

Re: Caribbean Beach Resort

Hi, I have never been to the CBR, but will be there for the first time 6/29 - 7/6. We can't wait. Check out the photos of it on WDWIG, they'll give you a good idea of what it looks like. Have fun!

Re: Caribbean Beach Resort

I've stayed twice and in Jamaica both times. It is across Barefoot bay from Old Port Royale (food courts and main pool) but a short walk away using the footbridge. Rooms are spacious and well themed. The main pool is GREAT. Also each building has it's own pool which is almost never crowded!! Any questions, don't hesitate!

Re: Caribbean Beach Resort

We were there in April and it was fabulous! You'll love this resort. While it is spread out, I never minded the walks when we've been there in the past. So, I'd say you're staying at a great resort.

Re: Caribbean Beach Resort

We stayed there in '99 and liked it quite a bit.

I can't remember the section we were in, I want to say Aruba but I know it was across the lake from the food court and main pool. I loved the walk, it was very pretty!

Have a great time!

Re: Caribbean Beach Resort

We have been there in 1995 (honeymoon) and 2000. It is a great place to stay. My two young boys loved it in 2000 and want to go back there. Even if you aren't close to the main building, you won't mind the walk. The food court is excellent and the rooms very spacious. I wish I could go there right now!
Enjoy!
