Melinda,

You should read Michnash's trip report. Her son and her camped for three weeks. She gives lots of insight to the campgrounds. Very enjoyable reading.

Re: Have you ever stayed at FT. Wilderness tent site

I camped in the tent area a couple of times, including once in August while 6 mos pregnant While that time was "little warm", but I think that was just me, the comfort stations were clean and believe me when pregnant you visit those, a lot! We chatted it up at the comfort stations with many different folks who were also camping and it seemed had like schedules. That's something you don't generally do at the hotels. We enjoyed the staff and the facilities. and, we never felt like we were camping on top of another site, which is not something all campgrounds can claim.
