Problems with Reservations!!! What happened?

We made our reservations on May 28th to stay at Pop Century the week of Thanksgiving. We always book a room for the night before and the night after our package starts/ends. When our package information arrived it left off that we wanted a room before and a room after and that it needed to be attached to our other parties room. So we called and asked our questions got some round about answers and an extesnsion on our deposit payment. Well here I am today with my "new" reservation package, they remembered the adjoining rooms but forgot the night before and the night after. So we called again this time seperate from our party. Got even more round about answers, and come to find out we have NO extension and it needs to be payed before the 18th (here it is already the 14th.) So we sent our party to call and ask for someone else to see if they got the same answer....don't know if they had any luck. Also we were told to send the package deposit to a different address then the room only deposit? Has anyone heard of this? We have done it many times before and never had to do it in seperate payments. I love Disney and the fact that they are so friendly and patient but why do I have one question with so many answers? PS. Party just called I think they had alot better luck!

Re: Problems with Reservations!!! What happened?

to the Passporter Boards! I'm sorry you are having so many problems with your reservation and I really can't offer any suggestions. I know many people have expressed frustrations with CRO. Most people around here have learned to call back within 15 minutes or so and talk to someone different. You could also ask to speak to a supervisor if things aren't getting properly taken care of.

Re: Problems with Reservations!!! What happened?

Packages are handled by Walt Disney Travel Company. Room only is CRO; however, the same people book them and they can tie the room only into your package (and should be able to do so with no issue).

You will still have to pay a deposit on the package, plus a deposit on each room only reservation -- but, with the new MYW packages why not just book the before/after room as part of the package unless you are changing resorts?

Sorry you had so much trouble with your reservations. I agree with the previous poster, if your not satisfied with the answers to your questions, call Disney again b/c the odds get better you'll get a CM that can help you better. Good luck!
