| "Special Magic Hour" = $$$ What do y'all think? Disney isn't calling it EE again, they're calling it "Special Magic Hour". Do you think they're going to make us PAY?? Like E-ride nights? And since I haven't heard anything official from Disney yet... I will be so ticked if that's the plan!! |

| Re: "Special Magic Hour" = $$$ well, I really hate to be cynical, but I think raised ticket prices = special magic hour. What do you think? Maybe now they have the $$$ to resume EE. (not that I'm really complaining...) |

| Re: "Special Magic Hour" = $$$ Special Magic Hour, like EE, or "Surprise Mornings," (EE isn't really a Disney term, it was more of a nickname) is free to guests at Disney's resorts. That's absolutely clear in their press release. Considering this is the first ticket price increase in two years, and that it's about 4%, I don't think the one had much to do with the other. Disney isn't going to sock their off-property guests with a price hike just to provide a benefit to on-property guests. Isn't it more likely that Disney is trying to encourage folks to stay on property? Disney's hotel business has not recovered nearly as well as their park attendance. They've got to do something, and considering how much dissatisfaction they generated when they dropped EE, bringing it back is a reasonable start.    |

They had to do something to give people another good reason to stay on property and this is really a good reason. -HiddenMickey    |

| Re: "Special Magic Hour" = $$$ I agree that I think it was more of a tactic to get more people to stay on Disney's property. I really hope that they are still doing EE when our trip rolls around. It would be nice to get to the park before they become over crowded and then to be able to take a nice long break and return in the evening. I know Matthew would love to have more pool time too. |
