How large is a BCV studio?

I'm trying to find out how many square feet the Beach Club Villa studios are. I've looked at a few different sources, and can't find that information.

Thanks!

Re: How large is a BCV studio?

The floorplan and furniture make them feel cramped though. There were four of us, two adults and two kids and we were tripping over each other and our stuff constantly. Here are some pics so you can judge for your self.

Bedroom area from balcony door
Bedroom area from hallway
Kitchenette from vanity area
Hallway from main entrance

As you can see the bedroom area is pretty tight. However, the vanity, bathroom and kitchenette area have plenty of room.

Hope this helps. BTW check out the hidden Mickeys in the hall carpet.

Craig

Re: How large is a BCV studio?

Thanks for the pics, Craig. My big concern is where to put the pack & play. When we've stayed at ASMo and AKL, it has gone in the area at the end of the clothes rack or closet. From what I've seen of the BCV studio layouts, it looks like that space is taken up by the kitchenette. Where do you think it would best fit?

It looks like things are gonna be tight with 4 of us + the baby. We'll struggle through though. Sure wish we could afford to stay in one of the one bedroom units.

Thanks again!

Re: How large is a BCV studio?

Hi, there is room by the closet and bathroom, but there is also a wall between there and the bed area. When the fold out couch is unfolded, there isnt a whole lot of walking room, and I am not sure if you could move the table and fit a small crib in that area. We stayed there last summer, my 2 teenage boys and me and it was adequate space for us.We did fold up the couch every morning though so we had more room during the day.We loved it there, by the way, Sheila

Re: How large is a BCV studio?

It'll be a pretty tight squeeze with the port-a-crib and 4 "big" people. If you're not totally set on BCV I very highly suggest OKW. Our points are at VWL and BCV but we prefer to stay at OKW. The rooms are so much larger, cheaper too. They are a bit further from the parks than BCV.
