Universal Orlando pools

Are the pools at the Universal resorts heated, specifically the Hard Rock? We went in July - no need for heated water then! But wondering about April when it may be cooler.

Re: Universal Orlando pools

Good question, Michele. We're going in OCT so it might be pertinent info for us as well.

Anyone know?

Re: Universal Orlando pools

Michele - sorry just saw this...YES! The Hard Rock Hotel Resort's pool is indeed heated! It's a PHENOMENAL pool! Hopefully they'll have the Dive In Movies when you are there - they set up a HUGE big screen and show movies and everyone piles in deck chairs in the shallow end! It's a hoot!

Quote:
Located onsite at Universal Orlando, Hard Rock Hotel continues to astound guests with its California-style mission architecture and impressive assortment of rock memorabilia - direct from the collection of Hard Rock Café International. One of the many unique features of Hard Rock Hotel is boasting one of Orlando's largest heated outdoor swimming pools - including a zero-entry sand beach, 240ft slide, and 12 underwater speakers.

Thanks Steve for that info!! We loved the HR pool but I didn't know if it was heated in the off season.
