Which hotel? My choices are CBR, Coronado Springs, and POR. I have stayed in POR French Quarter and know that Riverside is beautiful, but I kind of want to stay somewhere else. Will you guys help me with some pros and cons? BTW, We are two adults, no kids, there over Halloween. THANKS!

Re: Which hotel? My order would be CS, POR, CBR. Having stayed at all three of these resorts, we decided that we really like CS best. A lot of people tend to say it is too quiet, but we really enjoy it for that reason (we also have no kids). It doesn't bother us at all about the conventions that are being held there. We also didn't find it to be any more spread out than any of your other choices (again a common complaint often heard), it all depends how close you are to the food court area. We actually prefer to be way out back in the Rancho section. POR (DL!) is very beautiful and before staying at CSR was our favorite moderate. I'm sure you'll get a lot of different opinions, these are just my choices. Pam

Re: Which hotel? POR Magnolia Bend is my favorite of the three. Just love the beauty of the mansions area. If you do want to try something different, I'd say CBR. Love the tropical theme there, plus those hammocks on the beach are an awesome place to rest and relax. Big bonus...the larger rooms at CBR. I have stayed at CS and didn't care for it, but if you do decide to go with that, I'd suggest the Cabanas. I was put in the Casitas area and felt so far removed from everything. Wherever you stay, you can't go wrong!

Re: Which hotel? Since you aren't really interested in Riverside, I will share our experience on the other moderates we have stayed at. Coronado Springs - Very scenic, quiet, and well themed. We saw a lot of solo travelers and business people there attending conventions. Mainly in the Pepper Market, as it is right off of the convention center. Also, when you dine at the Pepper Market a 10% charge is added onto your bill for the server that brings your food to the table. The dining does not operate quite the same as other moderate food-courts, but we found the selection and the quality to be nice nonetheless. Some of the rooms can be quite a hike from things, so request a room close to El Centro if this is an issue for you. Caribbean Beach - Everything is newly renovated, including the food court and guest rooms. This resort seems to be more family oriented, as there were a lot more children present. Some of the rooms (Trinidad South) are quite a distance from Old Port Royale. The farthest are probably a 15 minute walk. This can present a bit of a problem if traveling with small children. Just something to consider. Other than that, a very nice resort. You can even see the Epcot fireworks in the distance every night!

Re: Which hotel? What to choose, what to choose... It's touch because I KNOW for 100% how fabulous POR riverside is, and I loved taking the boat to DTD. So, I know my money is well spent there. But on the flip side, I'd love to see something else to make sure I'm not missing out on anything.

| Re: Which hotel? I stayed at CS last September and loved. Going to be staying there again in October. Stayed in the Casita section, and felt it was a perfect location. Not too much of a walk to Peppermarket, had a quiet pool right there, and very close to first busstop. I'm sure you'll get all sorts of opinons though. | ||||

Re: Which hotel? We too spent a couple of days at CS and loved it. We were in the Cabana's and had a quite pool right outside our door. My neice and her husband and 2 beautiful daughters are staying there next weekend. So my vote is CS. Which ever you choose you can't go wrong. Remember, this is DISNEY
