homewood suites

My wife, 20 month old son and niece are planning a trip for mid August. I was wondering if any one has any experience with Homewood suites.

Hi Going Soon

I'm afraid that I don't have an answer to your question but I just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the boards. I'm sure someone will be along shortly who can give you information about this resort.

Hi Going Soon,

As DH says, we may not be able to help you on your question, but welcome to the boards anyway.

Re: homewood suites

The Homewood Suites is a national chain owned by Hilton. They have a full kitchen set up with a full size fridge, micro, dishwasher, and cooktop. Pots and pans are included as well as silverware and dishes. Each suite has a separate bedroom. In the living room there is a sofa (with pull out bed), coffee table and recliner chair. The kitchen table seats 4.

They have complimentary continental breakfast and an evening appetizer reception.

The decor is country and homey. Perfect for a family.

Re: homewood suites

I just talked to some friends who returned on Friday. They stayed in two different Homewood Suites last week. They spent most of their time in the one on International Drive and said it was a great location for people who are doing the Universal parks and Seaworld as well as Disney...right in the middle. They said it was pretty new and very nice. The rooms were just as you would expect from a nice suite hotel. Then they spent the last night in the Homewood Suites in Kissimee. They said it was a much older hotel but still in good shape. He thought it might have been the first Homewood Suites that was built. They recommended both as good places for a family to stay.
